Post-Doc Position Open on ‘Automating Welfare: Algorithmic Infrastructures for Human Flourishing in Europe’

3 years part-time post-doc position is open at the University of Leipzig.

The post-doc will be part of an international research team working towards the research project “Automating Welfare: Algorithmic Infrastructures for Human Flourishing in Europe” in the Chanse funding framework “Transformations: Social and cultural dynamics in the digital age“.

The research team includes: the Project Leader Anne Kaun (Södertörn University); the co-PIs Stine Lomborg (University of Copenhagen), Christian Pentzold, (Leipzig University), Karolina Sztandar-Sztanderska (University of Warsaw) and Doris Allhutter (Austrian Academy of Sciences); the cooperation partners Alice Mattoni, University of Bologna and Ana Jorge, Lusofona University.

The post-doc will be based at the University of Leipzig but will conduct fieldwork in Italy through qualitative methods and will be supervised by Prof. Christian Pentzold, at the University of Leipzig, and Alice Mattoni, at the University of Bologna. Please note that proficiency in both Italian and English is required.
